Few things are more delightful than giving gifts in the N+1 world of cycling and the holidays in particular give us a time to set new goals for ourselves in the upcoming year. Whether it’s commuting every single day, doing our first stage race, or going on a self supported tour, it's our gear that makes those dreams a reality. We scour the globe to find the coolest gear, and our guides are a selection of our absolute favorites. Our gift guides in particular are those top of the line items, that can truly help take you that extra mile.
We’ve set up the holiday guide a little differently than last year. Our first section is ‘Lust’. We admit, there might be a little “unobtanium” in this guide. These are the most luxe, stylish entries. From on trend, minimalist bags that are more Bergdorfs than they are local bike shop, to cutting edge tech that will change how you ride, these are our absolute favorite items. They are investment pieces, luxe rewards, and gear to take your game to next level. Carbon, silk, and merino, this is the gear that’s on the most stylish cyclist’s wish list. Just click on the section below to see our absolute favorites.
Our next section is ‘Must’. Not necessarily more budget conscious (although many are) these are the core items that can be a foundation for any cyclist. Solid gear for commuting and training, diehard accessories that put in the work mile after mile, these are the staples we can’t imagine living without. These will be practical additions that any cyclist will treasure for seasons to come, gifts that can be investments in the experience of cycling.
Lastly, there are plenty of us that probably have enough stuff. In which case we’d love it if you could ‘Support Us’ and the community of women that make up Pretty Damned Fast. Well in to our second year, it’s clear that PDF has struck a chord within the cycling community. By shopping with us, you help us with our overhead. But more importantly you show other women that there is a vibrant community here, and that together we share the joy that cycling brings to our lives.
Wishing all of you a very happy holiday season, and beautiful miles ahead in the new year. And maybe even a podium or two.
Much love, Tayler and Anna Maria
